Barriers written 1/5/11 and 4/20/11

Times in life, high and low
Caused a build before the blow
Made to protect long and hard
Worked too long to be scarred

Never wanted to be blocked
But the memories could not stop
Afraid to be hurt in the midst again
Protecting myself from a mountain.

What can bring it down?
What can erase the frown?

Turn that frown upside-down
And look into the bright sunlight
This time in life may seem like strife
But in the end you'll see the bend

And nothing could be as great as a tree
On the high mountain on the way to a fountain
Of beauty and galore that opens the door
To time of relief and the start of belief.
