And the 2000's Come to an End.

Wow! I haven't written in forever! This semester has been a great one. I'm finally living off campus, but it's right across the street so it's not much of a change. I love it here. My roommates are absolutely amazing!!! I love them all soooooo much!!!!!!!!!!
We've had so many great times this semester.

Alexis made us this incredible DVD of the pictures we have of us from this semester. I'm sad that it's almost over and I won't see three of them for a while!

Finals are this week. It's going to be easy though. I have 3 of my finals already. One class actually ended on Friday because my professor is in China this week. I still have to finish that final though because I was given a small extension. For my dance class, we have to make up our own dance to a hymn and perform it this Tuesday...that won't be too hard. Then for my calculus class, it is take home and we have it already. My two other classes have in class finals both on Friday. So I'll be taking finals from 7:15am to 12 noon and then I get to go to my sister's in Utah at 3pm.

I fly home on Sunday. I'm so excited! I cannot wait to be home again. My grandmother passed away on Wednesday and I have been homesick since Thanksgiving because that is what I was afraid of. I decided not to go home for Thanksgiving this year and this is how it ended up. :( I did go to my first BYU football game though. That was so much fun. However, the night before...I was doing tech for the play A Pioneer Song and the covered wagon that weighs almost a thousand pounds, ran over my toes. Luckily nothing was damaged. They are just really bruised. I am sooo thankful for my toes!

In October, my niece Emma was born. I can't wait to meet her next week! And then at the beginning of December my niece Brooklynn was born. I can't wait to meet her this weekend! I'm so excited for my new additions to my family! Including my brother's wife Kim.

Funny story about the wedding...I was waiting for Ken and Kim to come out when I see my friend who is in 4 of my classes this semester walking in my direction wearing my brother's wedding color. I walked up to her, said hi, and "You are not here for the same wedding as me." She responded, "No, I'm here for the Whitney wedding." I couldn't believe I never asked her where she served her mission! Apparently she was Kim's old companion and she is now engaged to Ken's old companion. They met the day after her fiance's date with my best friend Rachel. It was a very interesting afternoon.

Anyway, something that has also happened this semester was this crush on a guy. He was a bit cute, nice, and funny. I can't believe I talked about him a ton to my roommates. I've never done quite as much as I did with any boy I've ever liked. It was so odd. However, I realized some things a couple days ago. He might not be what/who I thought he was. So luckily it was just a crush, and as of right now, I'm already getting over it a little too easily.

Life is just full of surprises. You never know when something will come your way. It is all in God's plan. We can't and should try to mess with that plan. All things will that are meant to be will happen in due time. Life is great, even with challenges. Take care my friends and have a Merry Christmas!!!

:D

  1. I love how the only time you refer to me is with the weddings... not the fact that you spend Thanksgiving with me, or went to the game with me, or anything like that!
